This is the perfect book for robotic surgery. It spends time on describing issues but then gets into the practical application of robotic surgery. This includes things like equipment, positioning, supplies, port placement, and then operative steps. Not only that but the pictures are clear and useful. I’d recommend this for anyone with an interest in robotic surgery including those who are already performing robotic surgery. Every chapter had a pearl that I was able to take away for my own practice.

I’ve used several robotic surgery guides in the past, but the Atlas of Robotic General Surgery stands out for its detailed visuals. The intraoperative photographs are incredibly helpful in understanding the intricacies of each procedure. It’s a fantastic resource for both learning and reference during surgery.
