As the authors state in the preface and which I completely agree, ID is the broadest field in medicine. That said, this up-to-date textbook does a great job summarizing the specialty. The book is full of excellent tables and figures that makes it very interesting and enjoyable to read. Overall, this is a fantastic book for beginners and seasoned physicians alike. Highly recommended.
